Bring your family and spend a day at the pool with us!
Accessibility Bridge is hosting a day at Smallwood Village Swim Club for families with at least one child with a disability.
Your family will spend an amazing day at a gated facility with a baby pool, large pool area, grassy area, picnic tables, eating pavilion with a snack bar, volleyball area, tennis courts, a diving board and slide! There are grills throughout the swim club and you are welcome to bring in your own food as well!
We will be sending each registered child 13 and under home with cool swag items!
More details are on the registration form.
Payment for all family members must be paid before a family is registered.
Registration is limited to the first 50 family members who are both paid and registered.
It's time to register for swim lessons!
2023 Pool Season at Smallwood Village Swim Club
$65.00 per child for members
$75.00 per child for non-members
Included are eight 30-minute lessons.
Lessons are on Monday to Thursday with Friday saved for a make-up day if the pool closes due to rain.
If you have a child with a disability and are interested in group swim lessons, please register via the link below for one of the 5 summer sessions (you may register your other children through this link also). At the end of your registration, there will be a box for you to document any health concerns or limitations. Please make sure that you add "Accessibility Bridge" in your comment so they will know to place your child with the instructor scheduled to work with our kiddos who need additional support.
We were granted a special accommodation request which will allow one parent to be on deck during the swim lesson, or in the water with your child if it is necessary.
These lessons at SVSC are offered to all children, regardless of ability, so the spots fill up fast.
Our selected lifeguard/swim lesson instructor will not be available during session 3, FYI.
We will be having Accessibility Bridge Day at the Pool on June 3rd from 1-5pm) If you attend this event, you will have the opportunity to meet the swim instructor and Club Board President and ask any questions that you may have prior to lessons that begin on June 12th.
If you have any questions regarding group swim lessons, please email us at info@accessbilitybridge.com.
See you at the pool!
